Hail, all fellow deviants and my devout watchers! Emperor bless thee all!
So it's been crazy out there in the world with politics, world events, news, etc, etc, etc. My last journals have been about Trump, politics, California insanity, SJWs, and so on, but it's time for a fresh breeze of air to pass and clear away the staleness. So this journal is different, as it's all about me.
I wanted to write a journal but I didn't know what topic to post. Then I realized: my fellow watchers and deviants who view my page and gallery frequently know that I'm a good artist and a fellow deviant like them, but they know nothing else about me. I've never really liked posting personal facts about myself online (I've rarely done so), but I've been on dA long enough and I trust my most devoted watchers. I'm a very private person, but the aforementioned reasons comfort me enough to tell you a few facts about me, about who I am and what are some of my quirks. So here it is, some of my interests, habits, and a little personal history so you can get to know me a little better.
P.S. This isn't a tag. No one tagged me to do this. This is totally my own. Now I begin.
1. I once liked Jack-In-The-Box chicken sandwiches before their prices raised. I once had a habit of ordering two or three chicken sandwiches with double patties on all of them, with the occassional soda and fries to accompany them. Not anymore, though.
2. I have an obsessive way of sleeping; i.e. I cover myself with as many blankets and pillows as I possibly can, ensuring that my whole body is covered. Probably an after-effect of my childhood fear of the dark, which was very strong when I was a kid. I do it every night when I sleep.
3. I have a weakness for red-haired women. I think redheads are among the rarest and most beautiful type of people. No offense to all other females!
4. The bands Within Temptation and Epica are my top two favorite bands. I especially admire the lead singer of Epica, Simone Simons for her singing, her intelligence, and yes, her beauty (redhead!) I also like Epica because of their songs, the band members, and the message behind each song, it’s not solely about their frontwoman. Epica’s songs are brilliantly designed and played, kudos to them!
5. Warhammer 40,000 is my absolute favorite science fiction and science fantasy genre. Before that, it was Star Trek, but I'm not a Trekkie. I also like Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Gundam, Sailor Moon, and a few others.
6. I have an aversion to cheese and dairy products, but not because I'm lactose-intolerant. It's because I suffered a severe case of food poisoning as a kid when I barfed an entire cheese pizza I had eaten only hours before and had left me bedridden for three days straight! Fun fact: that cheese pizza came from a five-star restaurant! Not a simple pizzeria! A five-star, goddamn restaurant! Their quality control sucked big time! Now I absolutely avoid cheese and milk out of psychological trauma.
7. I really enjoy driving and taking alternate routes to any intended destination. For example, I know at least thirteen different routes to my college that don’t involve the freeway. Given enough time, I can take one of these routes to get to school on time, even though the freeway’s the fastest path. I like taking my time with driving. Plus, I’m a really good navigator.
8. I’m a believer of reincarnation.
9. I’m not a religious person, nor am I an atheist. I like to call myself a spiritualist, of sorts.
10. I do believe Atlantis once existed, as did other mythical lands like Hyperborea, Mu, and Lemuria. I also believe the ancient astronaut theory, somewhat. (Theory is that aliens came to Earth in the past and assumed the identities of gods and deities to guide or control humanity, plus the usual genetic engineering that created our species (as a higher evolution, as a slave race, I don't know). Not evolution from apes, but genetic engineering!) I don’t buy it entirely, but there’s enough claims to make me think that there’s something truthful about this. Besides, everyone knows that governments all across the world and history often rewrite history to fool the people or glorify their ideals. The U.S. is no different, we’ve probably rewritten a lot of our history to hide all the atrocities our government committed in the past.
11. In terms of Pokemon, I no longer watch the series or remain a big fan of it. The only loyalty I have left to the franchise is that of the old days. I don’t play Pokemon Go or watch any of the newer episodes or engage in any of the latest Pokemon news. When it comes to Pokemon, I still like the old episodes and characters, and in terms of love couples, a faithful devotee of Pokeshipping and Contestshipping I am! Also, my favorite character remains to be Misty (You guessed it, because she’s a redhead.) Same goes with Yu-Gi-Oh, as I am a keeper of the old ways.
12. My favorite color is blue, but originally it was black, till I found that black wasn’t really a color, but absorption of all colors.
13. Not a big fan of sports, but I do loathe the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Boston Celtics. My apologies to those deviants who are fans of these teams.
14. I don’t like Bronies. In fact, I once cried out a 40k-inspired battlecry (as a joke) to just inflame some Bronies among my friends a long time ago. It was this: DEATH TO ALL BRONIES! (picture holy chainsword and bolter as I prep for anti-Brony crusade. The Emperor will bless me with his sanction!)
15. In terms of news, I abhor mainstream media. Fox News, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, I watch ZERO percent of them. Now I get my news from alternative sources (RT, Ruptly TV, Al Jazeera, Alex Jones, Next News Network, and Mark Dice)
