Supreme Sailor Baal Secundus

"Supreme Sailor Baal Secundus, Soldier of the Sacred Blood, protector of the moon Baal Secundus, progeny of the Ninth Legion Astartes, member of the Star Warriors and part of its leadership, the Lady Sanguina."

In an adjacent galaxy, there lies the Imperium of Man, a pan-galactic theocratic empire with humanity as its dominant species. It consists of many different worlds and cultures, and it is where the Star Warriors receive a large number of their recruits. Amongst that number are five Sailor Senshi all hailing from a single star system, the guardians of its sole planet, its two moons, their world's sacred blood........and the cursed warriors that reside there.

All five are actually a quintuplet of sisters born in the same year, a rare occurrence in their world, and even more rare is the fact that they are nearly identical to each other; though facially and physiologically different, they share the same basic form: extremely pale skin, hair of the darkest black.........and red eyes, a rare trait of their people.

For the five sisters come from a race of people known as the Blood. The Blood are the only race of pure humans that reside on this planet, known as Baal, and its two moons, Baal Prime and Baal Secundus. Baal itself is a barren world with levels of radiation that would kill normal humans, while its two moons are slightly more stable though still dangerous to a human. Yet these people, the Blood, are hardened physically against such radiation through years of hardship and have thrived as a great civilization.

These five sisters are from this race, but even amongst their kind they were regarded as truly beautiful women. None had ever seen such remarkable beings, bearing perfect physiques. It was obvious they were destined for great things. And indeed they were, for they displayed all the great traits sought after in a potential recruit. So it was that the Star Warriors came to their home planet and offered all five sisters the chance to become Sailor Senshi. Seeing this as the prophecy foretold by their elders of when they would be elevated to do great things, the sisters accepted. They proved to be some of the strongest recruits the Star Warriors had ever seen, and some of the most independent. When the time came to receive their Senshi titles, they chose to become the guardians of their people.

Thus did they do this: the eldest would become the protector of Baal itself, while the other four would each guard the moons, sacred blood, and cursed warriors of their people. That is why they chose to honor the superhuman warriors of their people, the Ninth Legion Astartes- the Blood Angels- by wearing their colors and their emblem: a winged drop of blood.

The first four sisters are all terrible and beautiful to behold. Each is unique: Ephesia the eldest, strong and martial and imbued with strong leadership qualities. Lucasta, the guardian of sacred blood and the strong right arm of her older sister. Carmina, the bloodthirster among their number, a wild yet honorable warrior who craves for the taste of blood and yet displays strong emotions of love. Lumia, young and confident, and a master swordswoman in her right.

But none can match the beauty and divinity of their youngest sister. For it seems Sanguinius himself bestowed his blessing upon the youngest of the five.

Celestyna is the youngest of the five Baalite sisters, and it would seem, the most beautiful of all. Her pale skin shined all the more paler than those of her sisters. Her black hair was like a shroud, dark and mysterious. And her red eyes gave off a shining glow which none of her sisters had. It seemed she was blessed.

And she was, for a miracle happened in her fifth year: a great light shined down on her forehead, and there a tattoo appeared on her right cheek: a black winged teardrop. To the people of the Pure Blood tribe, it was a mark of favor. Celestyna would go on to do great things. Years later, their belief proved to be right, for Celestyna displayed wisdom, compassion, and energy beyond her young age. She seemed to be filled with such kindness and love that it awed all into humbleness. She loved everyone, even her own enemies. When the time came for her to become a Sailor Senshi, Celestyna proved the most promising of the five recruits taken from Baal. She rose to outrank even her own elder sister, becoming part of the Star Warriors' leadership after gaining the rank of Supreme.

She is now Supreme Sailor Baal Secundus, named so after her guardianship of the second moon of Baal. Baal Secundus bears great significance to the people of the Blood, for that is where their savior, the angel Sanguinius, was found and raised. Celestyna is the guardian of the most sacred ground the Baalite people revere. Her love for the Great Angel is so great she has even emulated him by taking on his appearance, wearing a uniform of the most perfect detail and mechanical wings that give her flight.

But for all her grandeur and splendor, she is still the youngest of the five sisters, and she still loves them, even to the point of following the orders of her older sister, despite being of higher rank. Celestyna may be the most gifted of the sisters and she may be blessed, but she will not let that corrupt the goodness and kind love within her.



Weapons and Items

Winged jump pack- like all her sisters, Celestyna wears a jump pack to achieve flight. But unlike them, hers comes fitted with a pair of mechanical wings that can move and act exactly like real wings. Connected to them by small nanowires that are fastened directly to her nervous system, Celestyna can move them at will and fly exactly like the Great Angel did all those years ago.

Winged blood drop- she carries a emblem of the Blood Angels with her, for it is her Transformation Item. It is unique in that for every single item of all Imperium-based Star Warriors, only one phrase needs to be said: Imperator Aegis. The Shield of the Emperor. Once that is uttered, her transformation begins and she will begin to smite the Emperor's foes anew.

Lance of the Sacred Blood- Celestyna's love for Sanguinius is so strong she even chose to base her Attack Item on the Great Angel's principal weapon, the holy relic weapon known as the Spear of Telesto. Like that spear, the Lance of the Sacred Blood is a polearm weapon, looking very similar to that sacred spear of before. It is her trademark Attack Item and she is very masterful with the lance.


Known attacks

Light of the Angel- her strongest attack, it involves the use of her lance. Celestyna can conjure a bright light from within herself and use the lance to direct it. Once unleashed, a wave of pure light will smite any black-hearted foes within its path, yet it will harm no innocent.

Blood Lance- similar to her sister Lumia's Blood Sword attack, this one actually takes a small portion of Celestyna's blood and envelops it around the lance blade. Once done, it can easily smite all enemies with just one strike.


Angel's Flight- high up in the sky, Celestyna will emit a great cry and then fly down to strike the lance upon the ground. A great shockwave will occur, toppling all foes and vaporizing those closest to her attack. That is Angel's Flight.

Prescience- using her lance, Celestyna can take brief glimpses of the future, just as her idol Sanguinius was possessed of the gift of foresight.

Gift of Blood- not all her attacks are offensive. This one is used as a healing ability, for Ephesia can transfer and purify any source of blood and give it as a transfusion to any dying individual, saving them from death.


There are times in an artist's life when he creates a true masterpiece, and this to me, is a true masterpiece. Behold the last of my Blood Angel-based Senshi, and a bearer of Sanguinius' light: Celestyna, youngest of the five sisters, and protector of the moon Baal Secundus.
