Scarab Occult veteran

A new addition to the ranks of the Thousand Sons: a veteran Space Marine of the XV Legion's elite: the Scarab Occult (symbolized by a black scarab with blue y-shaped lining). This artwork is really a re-do of the original that I did five years ago.

This warrior is wearing the current armor of the Space Marines, Mark VII. Here, it's been localized, featuring much native Prosperan iconography, such as hieroglyphs, scarabs, curves, etc. The warrior is a member of the Pavoni, symbolized by the colorful feather in the center of the eight-pointed wavy star.
