Neo Sailor Agni

"It's been said that I embody the flame many times by my sisters. I can honestly say with certainty that they're right most of the time. I adore fire. I love its warmth, its strength, its power. That's why I became the guardian of the Charific Valley, for that place, along with the powerful Charizard who live there, are the most perfect embodiments of the flame to me. Now here I stand, a Senshi of fire, able to bend the flame to my will and be in communion with the element I love most. I am a bringer of warmth to those who need it, a purifier to those who are tainted, and a destroyer to those who would harm the innocent. And in the service of the order to which I'm part of, I'll gladly use my power for the cause of good."

Many are the Sailor Senshi that comprise the Star Warriors, and they all come from different worlds to serve a common purpose. There is a world located close to our Earth where humans live in peaceful co-existence with a species of sentient creatures called Pokémon. Humans and Pokémon in this world work together to live prosperously, and there is a culture on this planet that revolves around humans training and keeping Pokémon for various purposes. This Senshi may be a native of that world, but she not a Trainer or associated with any other Pokémon save one in any way.

In her civilian identity, she is known as Liza. She was the guardian and caretaker of a special valley known as the Charific Valley; only the fire-type Pokemon Charizard dwelled there, and even so, only the very strongest and disciplined could stay there. The caretaker responsible for the defense and training of these powerful fire creatures was Liza. So did she remain the sole protector of the Valley for much of her adult life, protecting all of the Charizard that lived there from poachers, hunters, and anyone else who intended harm upon the valley. She was familiar with numerous fighting techniques, and always at her side was her loyal friend Charla, a female Charizard whom Liza had known since childhood.

Liza's homeworld is a major center of recruitment for the Star Warriors, and when they came to her home planet to search for another recruit, a local recommended the Charific Valley to the recruiters. Intrigued, the Senshi followed his advice and headed for the Valley, immediately impressed upon getting their first gaze of the valley. The first thing they saw was Liza tending to the Charizard with all the skill of an expert. She knew each one individually, and all of the Pokemon respected this lone human with a sense of loyalty and friendship that was palpable to all, even to the Senshi themselves. Further observation revealed that Liza lived a hermetic lifestyle, rarely having ventured out into the outside world other than the occasional trip for food and supplies. But despite that, she was a truly friendly person, stern and hard to others but also loving and caring.

Indeed, Liza actually challenged the Senshi, asking them to state their business, who explained to her their purpose. Interested she might have been, but Liza had her doubts, knowing that to accept such a duty would keep her away from the Charific Valley. However, the Senshi reassured her that the Charific Valley would be well-protected in her absence by a cadre of their own. Still Liza was not convinced. It took the presence of Misty Waterflower, herself one of the highest-ranking of the Sailor Warriors as Exalted Sailor Tethys and the chief protector of her homeworld, to calm down Liza's worries. In the end, Liza decided to accept this duty, knowing that much good would come out of it, though she'd have to sacrifice much to achieve this. Nevertheless, she underwent the training required to become a Sailor Senshi of the Star Warriors and was fully initiated into the order after six years.

Originally, Liza had doubts about her choice to take the path of the Senshi. Now, years later, she knows she made the right choice. She is now Neo Sailor Agni, named after the Hindu god of fire and one of the most powerful of the Sailor Warriors. She is counted among its most potent pyromancers, for she learned the art of fire magic during her training and is now able to conjure and even breathe flames like her Charizard. Many times she has ventured out into the universe, participating in many missions upon numerous worlds, though she is notably one of the least active Senshi of the Star Warriors, as her primary duty remains being the guardian of the Charific Valley and protector of her homeworld alongside her sisters. She is also well-known by many fire cults across the universe, evidence of this being present in the special emblem she wears upon her chest. Among the Senshi of the Star Warriors, she is one of the most powerful of all.


Items and Weapons

Fire emblem- a simple fire emblem wrought of gold and inlaid with a cut jewel, it is Liza's Transformation Item. A rush of flame and the utterance of the phrase "Agni Flame Power" initiates her transformation into the Soldier of the Everlasting Flame.

Firelance- a mighty weapon, the spear blade is forged from crystallized gold and is able to pierce the thickest armor. It is one Liza's primary Attack Items and among the most potent weapons in the Star Warriors' arsenal. Engraved in Japanese-style kanji, just chanting these words fills the wielder with confidence. The spear is able to unleash molten streams of fire, destroying all unfortunate enough to be in its path.

Agneyastra- as she is named after the Hindu god of fire, it seems only fitting that she wield the weapon which bears his name. So it is that Liza, with the aid of several of her Senshi sisters, who were able smiths and artificers, crafted the one Attack Item that truly puts awe and fear in the hearts of friends and enemies alike. Its shape is in the form of a seven-pointed star, subtly wrought into the form a mandala. From the seven crystals embedded at its ends can Liza summon forth storms of fire able to burn entire regions of land and numerous armies to a crisp. This weapon is truly the personification of the god Agni himself, and thus bears his name: Agneyastra. Liza is truly worthy of wielding this magical weapon.



Known attacks

The Flaming Sword- a truly potent attack, Liza can conjure a brightly burning sword made of solid flame that is deadly to all who fall beneath its fiery edge.

The Dragon's Breath- this attack is unexpected by those who face Liza for the first time, for the name is apt; a torrent of fire erupts from Liza's mouth, who emits a roar very much like that of a dragon or Charizard's and she can direct the pillar of flame with skillful ease.

Fire Whip Purification- twin whips of fire burst from her hands, and the fire from which they are composed is so hot and pure that it can purify any taint from the face of the earth.

Surtur's Embrace- named so after the Norse giant whose flames will engulf the earth in the time of Ragnarok, Surtur's Embrace is a truly devastating attack. A wave of fire, so wide and long it can expand ten football fields, sweeps all in its path. Everything that falls beneath its touch is quickly incinerated, leaving barren earth in its wake.

The Consuming Flame- Liza's final attack and the most destructive of all. It can only be conjured with her second Attack Item and only if her Charizard is present, for Charla becomes the conduit of this attack. It takes form in a spherical blaze that grows ever bigger upon enveloping the Fire-type Pokemon, who then flies towards the earth and roars in anger, unleashing the attack. The Consuming Flame is ten times more destructive than Surtur's Embrace, able to destroy half a country if possible, and is even capable of burning in the cold vacuum of space. Liza will never use this attack unless she is left with no other option, for she is aware of its truly destructive power.



Duties

As the protector of her homeworld and the current guardian of the Charific Valley, Liza does not venture out into the universe that often and so remains one of the least active of the Star Warriors. But the missions she has participated in, few as they are, have been recorded in the annals of the Star Warriors, for some of them include a few of the Star Warriors' greatest victories and successes, none of which would've been possible without Liza's intervention. They include:

.Seven years into her service as a Sailor Senshi, Liza was called to a world in the southern expanse of the Milky Way that was the victim of a genetically-engineered virus so infectious and destructive to all forms of organic life that it destroyed three entire worlds over the course of two weeks. Now it was in the process of slowly decaying a fourth world, and Liza understood her purpose. So she waited, and when all the geneticists, doctors, and scientists finally gave up, the Star Warriors turned to their ultimate solution: her. Liza, in conjunction with several military vessels, unleashed her fire powers to completely incinerate and cleanse the dying world, thereby eradicating the virus completely.

.Liza was summoned to another world in the Milky Way that had unnaturally active volcanoes, and one of them gave off an eruption so powerful it threatened to destabilize the planet. Liza's powers include absorbing and redirecting immense amounts of heat, and so she was responsible for absorbing much of the volcano's fury until it cooled down, while Earth-type Senshi ensured that the planet's tectonic activity remained stable. The mission was a success.

.Liza provided power for a group of communities in another planet of the Milky Way. These people relied on geothermal power, having built power plants beneath a series of volcanic fissures that provided energy to all the communities. But a malfunction and subsequent explosion cut off the plants from the fissures, thus depleting the civilians of their primary source of energy. Fate had it that Liza was nearby, returning from the completion of another mission. With calm and kindness, Liza gladly used her fire powers to keep the geothermal plants running until the damage was repaired.
