Little does man realize.........

.......that by establishing himself as the dominant species,
that by believing himself superior in whatever capacity,
that by thinking that all his ideals are the most perfect,
that by claiming the Earth as his own realm to do with as he pleases,
that by bringing to heel the other races of man he deems inferior,
that by establishing dominance over others,
that by usurping power for oneself,
that by allowing pain and suffering to reign over us all,
that by not listening to others and refusing to hear,
that by intentionally denying the truth,
that by deluding himself into thinking he is the ultimate being,
that by setting up ideals and faiths that only prop up his towering ego,
that by creating draconian rule over millions,
that by letting all the ails of this world run rampant,
that by not even trying to help,
that by permitting himself to be viewed as an idol,
that by demanding loyalty and worship,
that by permitting his arrogance to get the better of him,
that by hoarding as much wealth and knowledge in the world only for himself,
that by intentionally covering the truth from time to time,
.............................
that by allowing himself to be blinded by the mysterious master he unknowingly follows,

...........he has chained himself, shackled himself, branded himself, enslaved himself without being aware of it.

Thus, man's enslavement to himself.
